Maybe you should get some friends like mine...
Today I came home from a really hard day to this array of flowers and goodies. A beautiful bright spot on a no good, very bad day!
I am not sure if I will ever deserve the wonderful people in my life, but I am so grateful I have them! To you who have been so great, you know who you are and I love you everyday more for it!

Ringing in the New Year in Sin City
In looking at my pictures of the last year, I have realized I go to Vegas entirely too much! Despite that fact, when a group of my favorite people from California and Provo alike decided to meet in Vegas for New Year's, I couldn't resist!
It was a quite trip but the memories are definitely worth the travel time, ridiculous lack of sleep, and gas money spent. If any of you are "facebookers" you may have seen these pics and the amazingly funny comments that have come from the photographic evidence of the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009! I will not try to recreate the hilarium that occurred however I will post a few of the pics for your viewing pleasure! (Captions to come!)

A Career Opportunity...
I have decided to apply for a new job! Unfortunately for you, if I get it, I will be moving to Australia. I read this article online and I think I would be perfect.
Here is the job:
Island Caretaker-
The "island caretaker" will be expected to stroll the white sands, snorkel the reef, take care of "a few minor tasks" -- and report to a global audience via weekly blogs, photo diaries and video updates.
Requirements/Qualifications:
-Must be a good swimmer, excellent communicator and be able to speak and write English.
-"They'll also have to talk to media from time to time about what they're doing so they can't be too shy and they'll have to love the sea, the sun, the outdoors," said acting state Premier Paul Lucas.
I think that I can excell at all of the above!
Benefits/Compensation:
-The job pays 150,000 Australian dollars (105,000 US dollars) and includes free airfares from the home country to Hamilton Island on the
Great Barrier Reef.
-The successful applicant, who will stay rent-free in a three-bedroom beach home complete with plunge pool and golf buggy.
Wish me luck!!!! This sounds like my dream job!
