La Florida

In January, the McArthur family headed to La Florida for a week of Disney fun. I wasn't able to make the full week due to a work trip but the time we had there was certainly entertaining. I think my dad was a little annoyed with us by the end of the trip but we enjoyed ourselves. And we always things we are SOOOO FUNNY. Chandler didn't really think we were funny, more annoying but she's just young and doesn't understand how funny we are yet. :)

It wasn't the most ideal weather but we made the most of it and boy we made those ponchos look goood!!!

While in Florida, we also went to one of my favorite places, Kennedy Space Center. Little known fact about me, I have always wanted to go to the moon. I am slightly obsessed with the Space program. And thanks to Pres. Obama, I may never go to space. (yes that is the ONLY reason)

There are so many stories to tell, and LOTS of embarrassing pics I could post. BUT I am still single and need all the help I can so I am going to save some of those posts for after I have convinced some sucker to marry me. :) Thanks Dad for taking all of us, even if you may have wished to leave a few of us behind. :)

Ringin in Twenty Ten

As I mentioned, some of my favorite people met up in one of my favorite cities to ring in the new year! New Years Eve brought good friends, good food, interesting conversation, window shopping in Chinatown, lots of walking, secondhand smoke, indecision and lots of laughs!

New Years Day we set out to cover a lot of ground in our rented go-carts. It was the most fun I have had in such a long time! We were a tourist attraction! People were videoing and snapping photos of us all over town! We visited the Golden Gate Bridge, the "Full House" park, Lombard street and Golden Gate park. As usual, I made a fool of myself but enjoyed every moment of it!

The fun just started there! We had a weekend of fun activities and LOTS of laughs! If we can judge this year by how it started, its going to be AMAZING!! Hope that rings true!

New Year-ITS HERE!

First off, I will update this one day, I promise! So much has happened in the last few months and I have pics galore, but my schedule isn't allowing the update to happen in a timely fashion. Sorry! It is my resolution to be better about it! Stayed tuned for lots of updates! :)

In the meantime, I realized I only have a few hours to finish my new years resolution. Don't think I will be married or pregnant by midnight but I guess you never know. Maybe I will just roll it over to 2010? Thoughts?

Although the resolution hasn't been fulfilled, I am still going to party the night away with some of my dearest friends in a city I LOVE!!!! The place where I can ride the trolley cars, eat shrimp all day, smell sourdough from miles away and shop like a bandit(if I had the money to do so!), SAN FRANCISCO HERE I COME!

I wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! May it be a great one for us all!

"Thunderous" Weekend

In December, the McMorbhoff girls met up in Vegas for a wonderful girls weekend. We laughed hysterically all weekend long. I would go into detail but it wouldn't make sense to anyone else. Let's just say there was a lot of facebook updates, giggling, retainers, playboy sheets and australian thunder! :) Words cannot express how much I love my cousins, they feel more like sisters and I can't wait until the next trip!

Rah Rah Rah Rah Rah!

Whether in rain or shine, my family has gone to support our Cougars in their bowl games for years! This year was no different! The whole family couldn't make it but Ash and I showed our support. We even got Megan(our Ute fan cousin) singing the Cougar fight song! It was freezing but we loved watching our boys win! Until next year!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Another year has come and gone! I can't believe it! As of Sept 29, I am a year older and hopefully a year wiser! This year, because of a sad event that occurred the night before my birthday, I was not really in the mood for celebration. However, my wonderful friends spoiled me and made it an incredible day.

Ali and I were able to get in a little Disneyland time! I loved it!

After our Disney adventure, I was treated to a very posh dinner cruising through the bay on a duffy boat!

Redge was an amazing captain!

I love my girls!!!

Isnt' my roomie adorable? I am lucky!

The day was wonderful. Disneyland, Duffy boats, lots of Mango desserts and INCREDIBLE friends! I am sure 27 is going to be a great year!

Family...Isn't It About Time

In September, I had the opportunity to go home to visit my family twice. Once planned, the second visit unexpected, but I was glad to be there and see my family and dear friends. It was also nice to be able to see a little live BYU football in action, even if it was a heartbreaking loss!

My dear friend Emily and her son Andrew

While I was home the first time, my bro took us out for a day one the lake. It was quite the adventure since the battery on the boat died twice! Luckily we are really good at flagging other boats down! Despite the slight delays, we had a great time and got to do a little wakesurfing!

Here we are flagging down other boats, Bergen was a huge help!

My sunglasses were a huge hit with Andelin and Bergen, good thing I had two pair!

Here we are surfing, I am definitely not an expert, but I loved it!

Thanks Corb and Carolynn for taking us out. Thanks Mom and Dad for letting me come home and visit!

True Love Returns...

There is one love in my life that has stayed constant and true. No matter where I am, what I have done, or how I look, it always comes back. Every fall, the love of my life(up to this point) comes back and brings me true happiness.

Yes BYU football-I love you! And I am not afraid to admit it! We are off to a good start, and I am not going to get too hyped or arrogant. I understand its only been one game! It was a great one though! What a way to start!

So many great memories have been made in Cougar/Edwards Stadium! It will always hold a special place in my heart. Thanks for coming back. I missed you!

I Freakin Love You

This last weekend, my friend April and I decided to have a day long adventure in Los Angeles. We played the day by ear and did whatever we tickled our fancy. Randomness ensued as usual with me and it was a FANTABULOUS day!
It started with a workout lead by the ONE,
the ONLY RiChArD SiMmOnS!!!!

He owns a studio in Beverly Hills and when we found out about the class he taught we knew we had to go! He was absolutely CRAZY but we loved the class. He kept pulling up his shorts and screaming things like, " I freakin love you" or "You're gonna make me throw up". Surprisingly, his pep talk at the end was quite inspirational!
We weren't too sure he liked us since at one point he called us "too sassy"!

When we were talking this picture Richard told me why I wasn't married! This is how it played out!

Richard: "Do you have a handsome boyfriend?"
Me: "Not at the moment!" (I proceed to wrap my leg around Richard, smile
and take the photo)
Richard:"Well I can tell you why."
Me:"Ok?!?!" (insert awkward laugh)
Richard: "You're too put together, you intimidate men."
Me:"I guess I should take that as a compliment?"(insert very awkward laugh)

I don't really know how to take that comment considering the source but it was really funny!

We had lunch at the Farmers Market in The Grove. Then we headed to Hollywood Blvd to pay tribute to MJ on his birthday. It was really hot and ended up even running through the fountains!

Did you know I had my own place on the Walk of Fame? I am kind of a big deal!

Oh and by the way, its September...Southern California is on fire again!

If you want to see more pics from the day, check out April's post.

Family...Isn't It About Time?

A few weeks ago, my family came to town. We had a fun and relaxing time, even without hitting up Disneyland! (Much to Chandler's chagrin!) I dont' have many pics from the trip so I am waiting for Ashlee to send them to me! Once I have them I will post!

We went to the beach, an amazing Dodger game, the Getty Museum and the Grove. Ashlee and Chandler went to the Jonas Brothers concert while my mom, dad and I went to see Topol in Fiddler on the Roof. It was amazing! I would highly recommend it!
